The premium brand was originally designed for men 25-45 years old in mind. Today Agave has expanded to include selvage denim, luxury fine gauge and Supima cotton jersey knits, non-denim jeans, casual pants and more recently a denim collection for women; Agave Nectar. From the beginning Shafer identified a void in the market for jeans designed to appeal to customers who wanted authentic, great fitting jeans they could wear anywhere, that would be youthful and contemporary without being over-styled. Agave uses only the finest Japanese, Italian and USA-made Supima cotton denim fabrics every season. The designer often works with boutique mills to develop fabrics exclusive to Agave.
